Clinical snapshot
Medical weight loss, done properly.
- GLP-1–based treatment (where clinically appropriate)
- Ongoing safety and side-effect monitoring
- Integrated clinic + pharmacy workflow
Is medical weight loss right for you?
GLP-1–based treatments can support weight loss by acting on appetite and blood sugar pathways. They are not cosmetic products and are only prescribed where it is safe and clinically appropriate to do so.
- Designed for adults living with overweight or obesity
- Used alongside diet, activity, and lifestyle changes
- Not suitable for everyone — especially in some medical conditions
Your answers in the assessment help our clinical team decide whether a GLP-1 or alternative plan is appropriate for you.
Typical eligibility (examples)
- BMI ≥ 30, or BMI ≥ 27.5 in some ethnic groups
- Or BMI ≥ 27 with certain weight-related conditions (e.g. high blood pressure, raised cholesterol, sleep apnoea)
- No history of specific conditions where GLP-1 treatment is not advised
This is a guide only. Final decisions are always made by a prescriber after reviewing your full assessment.

We will not prescribe if it isn’t safe
Some health conditions, family histories, and medicines mean GLP-1 treatment is not appropriate. In these cases we may suggest alternatives or advise you to speak with your usual GP or specialist team.
Your safety always comes before convenience or cost.
Frequently asked questions
Will I definitely get a prescription?
No. Completing an assessment does not guarantee treatment. A prescriber will only issue a prescription if it is clinically appropriate and safe in your circumstances.
How quickly will I get a decision?
Many assessments are reviewed within 1–2 working days. If we need more information, we’ll contact you securely.
Can I use this alongside my GP?
Yes. We strongly encourage you to keep your GP updated about any new medicines, especially for long-term conditions.
What if I change my mind?
If you decide not to go ahead after completing your assessment, you can let us know and we’ll stop the process.
